The Michael Jackson Memorial
Off and on, I watched the memorial today. I knew I wouldn't be able to watch the whole thing and that turned out to be very correct.
The talent (of course) was amazing. The turn out was great (of course).
I expected a totally vapid, cold and unfeeling Hollywood feel when I heard that one would be able to buy a ticket to the memorial. I expected crocodile tears and phony farewell speeches. I so glad to have been wrong on that.
When the camera put a group of three people on screen, I felt their pain and it was overwhelming.
Farewell Mr. Jackson.
